Australian-born luxurious private care model Aesop has launched a trio of of perfumes titled Othertopias. Created with long-term fragrance accomplice Barnabé Fillion, the three distinct eaux de parfums are designed to interrupt gender obstacles, problem our perceptions and unlock reverie.
Miraceti or “The Boat” pays homage to the serenity and savagery of the ocean. Labdanum hints at previous, ocean-worn wooden and the faint musk of a whisky-filled cellar.
Mingled with incense and seaweed on the breeze, the components calls on ambrette and styrax to spherical out a heat, woody and nuanced scent. With its delicate mineral notes, Karst or “The Shore” indicators a panorama sculpted by nature’s most expert architect: water.
