A MAN has been jailed for a number of offences dedicated within the buying space of Boscombe.

Timothy James Heath appeared within the dock accused of crimes which happened on the Sovereign Centre and Christchurch Road in August and April final yr.

Heath, 33 and of Grosvenor Gardens, Bournemouth, pleaded responsible to intentional harassment, alarm or misery, assault by beating, theft and two counts of housebreaking at a Poole Magistrates’ Court listening to on February 22.

The defendant stole a bicycle belonging to a person in Christchurch Road on April 23.

On August 10 he entered behind the counter of The Fragrance Shop within the Sovereign Centre as a trespasser and stole £120 value of fragrances.

He dedicated a like offence the next day, taking £60 value of products.

His offending continues on August 11 with an assault on a person by beating him within the buying centre and the general public order offence, which was aggravated on account of hostility primarily based on the sexual orientation, or presumed sexual orientation, of the sufferer.

Heath was dedicated to jail for 16 weeks and ordered to pay a £128 surcharge.
