RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Minister for IT and Municipal Administration Okay Taraka Rama Rao together with Minister for Health T Harish Rao formally unveiled a saree fabricated from ‘Sri Gandham’ which emanates fragrance in Hyderabad on October 8, 2022.
The Minister additionally named the saree “Siri Chandana silk” following the request made by its weaver Nalla Vijay. Mr Vijay, a weaver from Sircilla textile city in Telangana state weaved a first-of-its-kind Sri Gandham which emanates fragrance.
