German luxurious style label MCM has launched its second perfume with Inter Parfums Inc.
Called MCM Ultra, the perfume launched on the model’s web site and in MCM boutiques on Friday and can roll out globally and to the model’s U.S. retail companions, together with Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue, in August.
Infused with black currant, pink pepper, tonka bean, cedarwood and tuberose, the fragrance retails for $75 for 30-ml., $90 for 50-ml. and $115 for 100-ml. The perfume was crafted by perfumer Frank Voelkl, who mentioned in an announcement that he sought to strike a “delicate steadiness” between floral and fougère components with the scent.
