Dior has added a brand new scent to its lineup of fragrances. Dubbed “Eden-Roc,” the brand new La Collection Privée Christian Dior fragrance is an ode to the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc within the French Riviera.
“I composed ‘Eden-Roc’ by imagining an arrival by sea. The salt, the solar, the light-colored rock, the plush flora… Its path is an olfactory picture of this cape in an distinctive locale,” Dior’s Perfumer-Creator François Demachy shared in a press release. “A perfume is alive when it’s worn. Same goes for a spot, when it’s lived in. So lengthy stay the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc,” he added. Evoking the sensation of paradise, the scent effuses salty olfactory notes paying homage to the Mediterranean Sea. Featuring a woody floral base, “Eden-Roc” contains notes of white flowers and different fragrant accords.
