YEREVAN. – At the tip of 2021, the makeup of Armenia’s national debt improved on the account of the increase in the share of dram debt. Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan stated this throughout Monday’s debates on the execution of the 2021 state funds, on the assembly of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
According to him, in 2021 the Armenian authorities set itself the duty of enhancing the relative indicators in order to return them to the vary of the extent outlined by the manageable national debt regulation.
“In 2020, a big increase in national debt was registered in Armenia. Thus, the ratio of authorities debt to GDP was 63.5 %. In 2021, we managed to scale back this determine all the best way to 60.3 %, which is 3.2 proportion factors decrease in comparison with final 12 months,” stated the minister.
