We received so used to seeing Lily James together with her blonde hair, each mushy sunny highlights and vivid Pamela Anderson-blonde, that it was startling when she went brunette. When she stepped out on the purple carpet on the Prince’s Trust Gala in New York City on Thursday evening, we virtually didn’t acknowledge her. James’s make-up is mushy and fairly and her hair is darkish and dramatic. It makes for a significantly hanging mixture.
Thursday’s star-studded occasion was in celebration of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty‘s new partnership with The Prince’s Trust to supply funding for The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme within the UK, a fund that helps younger individuals turn out to be entrepreneurs. To kick off the partnership, Charlotte Tilbury herself (who’s now the first Prince’s Trust Ambassador) attended the gala alongside model “muses” Kate Moss and Phoebe Dynevor, in addition to Lily James, Sabrina Elba and Maya Jama.
All the ladies appeared beautiful in Charlotte Tilbury make-up, in fact.

We’re particularly drooling over James’s mushy glam by make-up artist Sofia Tilbury — Charlotte’s niece! “We went for a basic feeling flick with a pop of shimmer on the lids to match her wonderful @miumiu gown,” she wrote on Instagram.

Of course, Tilbury used Charlotte Tilbury skincare to prep her pores and skin, together with Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir ($80 at Sephora). But it’s all of the Pillow Talk merchandise she used that make the actor’s make-up stand out. Her full lashes are because of Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! Mascara ($29 at Sephora). Her lips — the right pink nude — are all Pillow Talk, as properly. Tilbury used Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk ($24 at Sephora) with Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk ($34 at Sephora) over high.
The consequence? A mushy glam that retains James from trying too accomplished up and lets her sparkly gown do all of the speaking.
