Why have been the products recalled?
On December 20, the firm launched an announcement revealing that they detected benzene of their products and issued the recall out of an abundance of warning.
Benzene is a chemical that has been linked to some cancers following long-term publicity, in response to the Department of Health and Human Services.
“Following latest stories that indicated traces of benzene in some aerosol spray products, we started a evaluate of our complete portfolio of aerosol products,” the firm mentioned in an announcement to Newsweek.
“While benzene shouldn’t be an ingredient in any of our products, our evaluate confirmed that surprising ranges of benzene got here from the propellant that sprays the product out of the can.
