Mets, Braves postponed, makeup dates announced

The Mets’ collection finale towards the Braves has been postponed this night, the second of three video games within the collection that was postponed by rain. And makeup dates for each of those postponed video games have been announced, with the Mets and Braves enjoying doubleheaders on June 21 as a part of a collection that was initially scheduled to be three video games and July 26 collection that was initially scheduled for 4 video games.
As the Mets await the return of lots of their regulars, each postponed recreation nowadays has a bit if a silver lining. The workforce now travels to Arizona for a three-game collection earlier than heading to San Diego for a four-game collection towards the Padres, an off day, and two video games in Baltimore.
Jacob deGrom was scheduled to pitch towards the Braves tonight and can now begin the collection opener in Arizona as an alternative, and the Mets are planning to have David Peterson pitch the second recreation and Marcus Stroman pitch the third recreation.
