Aberdeen Royal Infirmary staff treated to virtual skincare event

Employees at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary have been treated to a virtual skincare and make-up makeover event.
Hosted by Look Good Feel Better, a UK-based most cancers assist charity, over 40 nurses and medical staff from the oncology division took half within the unique event.
It was an opportunity for the charity to thank the staff for all the things they’ve performed over the previous 12 months to assist most cancers sufferers through the pandemic.
Look Good Feel Better has been delivering free workshops to individuals residing with most cancers for over 26 years.
Sarahjane Robertson, chief government of Look Good Feel Better, mentioned: “The pandemic has been an extremely difficult time for all however particularly for these going by means of most cancers therapy alongside the groups of great docs and nurses who’ve continued to assist them all through this time.

Each participant was gifted a goodie bag of donated skincare and make-up merchandise by the charity, to use through the virtual event.
The workshop allowed the group of oncology staff to have a second for themselves and take their minds off work for a few hours.
The session took the nurses by means of a twelve-step programme of expert-led tuition on numerous skincare and make-up strategies.
Speaking on the session, a nurse attendee mentioned: “I simply wished to say thanks for final night time, our goodie bag was pretty and far appreciated too.
“This is a service that we will see lifts the spirits of sufferers and I can see why now. Thank you for the work you do, and we recognize you together with us.”
